Tranquility
Birds wheeled overhead moving gracefully in ever increasing arcs.
Their song rose with them racing upwards toward the
heavens.
She watched them horizontally from her hammock.
Aside from the occasional wisp of cloud these distant specks were
the sole disturbance in the whole wide expanse of deep blue that sat
above her.
The lilting melody of the birds gradually faded and she became once
again enveloped in an all-encompassing silence, broken only by the
regular pulsating thrash of waves. Here tranquility was king.
